2Smoky and Zuka drop “God’s Hands”
Throughout 2020 2Smokey and Zuka have been providing their fans straight bangers going strength to strength with each release, and as a result of this the bar keeps being set higher for the duo. “God’s Hands” again hits the mark in spectacular fashion with Zuka’s stellar production providing the perfect backdrop for 2Smokey to drop heat bar after bar on the track.
2Smokey, for the most part on this song is giving insight on his current situation in life to listeners; explaining some of the challenges he faces and the individuals in his life that he wants to do right by. 2Smokey wants the listener to know that he’s wiser now than he once was on this track having a more mature outlook on aspects in his life. The chorus is undoubtably what stands out the most in this single with 2Smokey encapsulating perfectly the story of the track as he looks to God to help him triumph despite not talking to him what seems to have been too long. The catchiness of the hook and it’s relatability is sure to keep listeners coming back long after their first listen.
The beat supplied by Zuka, has a strong feeling of eagerness to it created by a combination of the string section that provides the backbone of the melody along with the guitar and organ parts that come in and out of the track to add emphasis on the strong chorus. This perfectly coincides with 2Smokeys subject matter of wanting to overcome the problems he might face in the future. As always Zuka was able to come with percussion that constantly smashes throughout the track, maximising the energy levels of the instrumental to the listener.
