Yorke and Eyal’s creative partnership began just over a year ago amidst the vibrant, eclectic streets of East London. Their shared experiences and instant artistic chemistry have culminated in their joint EP, There’s Something Going On, which vividly captures both the excitement and sometimes chaotic energy of city life. The EP features four distinct tracks, each offering its own unique vibe while consistently reflecting Yorke’s signature laid-back yet braggadocious style, a hallmark of his music.
When asked about his approach to creating this EP, Yorke shared:
“I intentionally focused on making music that was fun and replayable, while still keeping some of the emotionality that defines my music. That’s why the wordplay is clever and playful throughout, but if you really listen to what I’m saying, all the songs are about something in my life.”
The EP’s rollout was marked by the release of Yorke’s second official music video for the track “Honey,” directed by J. La Davis and shot by D.O.P Charlie Knight. You can check out the video using the link below.
With more music scheduled for release throughout the year, Yorke is steadily building momentum toward a potential album drop in 2025. There’s Something Going On is not just a testament to his current creative output but also a glimpse into what’s yet to come.
