A Murchandise Music release

The long awaited collaboration with Danny Chaska, and the second of Yorke’s run of singles to close out 2026. The two first shared a bill at Hootananny in Brixton in August 2023, when Yorke supported Danny’s headline show, and talk of a track together has followed them ever since.
The instrumental is built on a soulful sample, with quick, trap inspired drums gliding along beside it. Over the top, both rappers deliver standout performances, their braggadocious styles complementing each other perfectly. A track for rap fans who want warmth in the production and moxie on full display in the bars.
“Comparison is the Thief of Joy” is out now and available on all platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and iTunes. It is the second single in Yorke’s run to close out 2026, following “Telephone Calls” on the 2nd of October, with a live show at the end of November to mark the first anniversary of “Technicolour”. Details to follow.

Yorke is a London based rapper and producer with roots in Trinidad and Tobago. Earlier this year he joined Ghais Guevara as special guest on The Kayfabe Reveal tour, with dates in London, Dublin and The Hague. Wordplay Magazine praised “his most confident, razor sharp lyricism yet”, and his single “210 breezy” has passed 260,000 Spotify streams.
